vTech Solution is looking for a bright & dynamic incumbent for the position of Jr. Proposal Writer to work in its DC Office. The incumbent will beresponsible for working collaboratively to develop and write strong proposals that positively reflect our business and our solutions. The incumbent will work closely with our team of proposal writers, specialists, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in writing and managing all aspects of the proposal development process.

Review a customer request and understand all the related document requirements.

Develop requirements matrix outlining individual RFQ/RFP requirements.

Respond to RFQ/RFP requests utilizing vTech's Proposal Writing process and guidelines.

Develop graphics, spreadsheets, and format documentation to create final proposal.

Assist in development of draft and final proposals from document creation to proof reading to final product.

Proofread for content, grammar, style, formatting; edit, organize, and pull attachments and exhibits.

Consistently implement brand messaging, including tone, style, and theme, within all responses.

Effectively demonstrate and promote the vTech value proposition.

Develop and maintain compelling, persuasive RFP content.

Work with the proposal team to support the sales team with client-facing, written communications.

Review proposals to ensure a precise product is ready for client review.

Liaise with subject matter experts to inform responses to RFPs and/or to support the maintenance of content organized in knowledge base, including its technical accuracy.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Education and Skill Requirements:

Bachelor's degree at a minimum, in Critical writing/ Communications/ English/ Corporate communications.

1-2 years' experience responding to government and/or commercial RFPs and experience with proposal management and writing.

Previous experience working in a fast and deadline-driven high-volume proposal writing environment.

The ability to write and clearly articulate technical solutions into easy and understandable text is a must.

Advanced proofreading and editing skills required.

Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

An analytical mindset and strong coordination skill

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Skilled in other page-setting and/or graphics programs, a plus

Experience in the use and development of collaborative and document management systems is a plus

Experience in the use of proposal development tools a plus.
