Hotel Vin, Marriot Autograph Collection is a 120-room boutique hotel with over 20,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space located in the heart of downtown Grapevine. As part of the Grapevine Main project, which includes Harvest Hall-a beautiful European-style food hall with seven kitchens, two bars, and a stunning venue for live entertainment-Hotel Vin sets the standards for service excellence and career advancement.

OVERVIEW: This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy for the entire Grapevine Main campus, which includes Hotel Vin, Autograph Collection and Harvest Hall.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Develop departmental budgets and strategic plans, incorporating advertising and public relations strategies to ensure full maximization of revenue potential and media visibility for Grapevine Main.

Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, on property, mobile, video and print.

Oversees daily duties and performance reviews of Social Media Manager/Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist.

In collaboration with Food & Beverage Director as well as Harvest Hall Operations Director, generate concepts for special events and activities to create memorable experiences for all Grapevine Main guests.

Find and facilitate the fulfillment of all strategic partnership elements, digital/social, community, and hospitality

Maintains, monitors, updates and optimizes brand, ".com" and vanity websites.

Leads hotel photography process - schedules shoots, budgets, attends shoots, manages vendor relationships, ensures brand photography standards are met, edits, approves and distributes digital assets across all relevant brand and digital channels.

Plans, designs and executes branded marketing collateral needs

Manage the acquisition of partner marks and intellectual property to ensure delivery of all defined partnership elements

Ensure the marketing demands of the hotel, culinary outlets and Harvest Hall are focused but individualized to each entity's specific needs.

Work with local PR agency to develop public relations programs and generate news coverage from local, regional and national media; Develop media materials including press releases for newsworthy announcements to maximize the project's visibility.

Develop a plan for internal promotion of Grapevine Main initiatives and activations to increase awareness.

Lead the Grapevine Main Marketing Committee which encompasses Hotel Vin, Harvest Hall, Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau and Grapevine Parks and Recreation facilitating citywide celebrations, event programming and activations.

Strategize content driven marketing campaign in line with our brand marketing objectives to help us establish brand awareness, engagement, leads and sales across various social channels.

Create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to share a department highlighting learnings and performance.

Champion social media efforts to promote the project in conjunction with other PR related efforts.

Assist in development and execution of promotions and packages for purpose of filling identified need periods and generating incremental revenue.

Develop, promote and assist in execution of regular customer activation programming.

Effectively control all marketing expenses to ensure optimum operating profit.

Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.

Other duties as assigned by General Manager. QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in a marketing related field is strongly preferred.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, or related, marketing in a director-level role

Experience managing varied marketing strategies for multiple locations or properties.

Previous experience managing or working for a public relations/advertising agency.

Previous experience working with CVB preferred, but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong financial skills including budget management and accurate forecasting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
