Description
HUNT Mortgage is seeking a well-seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer and results-driven sales leader to join our leadership team. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for effectively leading a team of Mortgage Loan Originators, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a consultative approach to effectively onboard new applications. The Manager is also responsible for coordinating and monitoring HUNT Mortgage Same Customer Service Level (SCSL) and creating "top of mind" awareness of HUNT Mortgage products and services among internal Real Estate Sales Processionals, other brokers, and consumers. Primary Functions:
Maintain and supervise regional sales team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training Licensed Mortgage Loan Originators
Monitor and support team communication, pipeline management, escalations, speed, and accuracy to reach maximum efficiency and maintain a smooth client experience
Support team member retention by fostering a positive, proactive, and motivational environment
Build rapport with each Agent of the residential Real Estate brokerage in the region to facilitate and encourage their referrals and usage of HUNT Mortgage
Maintain sales volume and product mix by keeping current with market and competition, changing trends, and economic indicators
Coordinate with Marketing and all Core Business Leaders to create, revise, and distribute product and service-related information and resources
Develop and implement regional actions plans to increase SCSL, producing and analyzing SCSL reports on key departmental metrics and leveraging to support decisions
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional societies
Originate personal production of mortgage loan originations

Proficiency in current office technology (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.) Education & Experience:
3+ of experience as a mortgage loan officer required
Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Thorough knowledge and understanding of all local, state, and federal mortgage loan regulations required
New York State Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License required upon hire Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 15 lbs.
Local travel will be required for this position (up to 50% of the time) and additional long-distance travel may be required as needed (less than 25% of the time)
Valid Driver's License

The starting base salary for this position is $50,000-$100,000 per year. This position is also eligible for additional incentive compensation (bonuses, commissions, etc.) based on pre-determined personal and team performance metrics. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, classification, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
