Requirements:
Bachelors of Science and Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
Mid Career Level Experience - 5 + years of HVAC & Construction Project Management experience, ability to complete projects on time & under budget
Able to work in the office & field as well as occasional travel
Will need budgeting & scheduling experience
Project Engineer license preferred but not required.
Will need Experience thermal load calculations, friction loss calculations, etc) or references to mechanical code knowledge, ASHRAE knowledge or building engineering experience at the consultant level.
Communication with Architect, owner, GC, contractors & engineers.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word & other construction software are a plus
Will need to read & understand blueprints / schematics / specification sections
Manage schedules, budgets and mitigate risk for project completion Responsibilities:
Coordinating and communicating with Senior Project Management, General Contractors, Design Team and Construction Team members to meet project requirements, for HVAC Mechanical Engineering projects ranging from 25K-500K.
Manage procurement of equipment, materials and subcontractors on projects
Actively manage vendors and subcontractors to achieve project milestones
Maintain constant communication with field foremen and superintendents to help clear obstacles and align on project approach
Foster Business Development and Marketing through relationships built
Direct AR Department on monthly billing for projects
Identify and price change orders (Estimating department will support larger change orders for PMs)
Building & maintaining relationships with Customers
Managing budgets & schedules so jobs are completed on time
Accurately project profitability on a monthly basis to ownership at Work In Progress meetings
Closeout projects cleanly, ie; closeout documentation, clean change order logs, etc.
