Position Overview

This is an opportunity for you to play a critical role at an impactful organization in Chicago, IL. As the Director of Brand and Digital Marketing, you will lead the development and management of brand strategies, oversee marketing plans, and direct digital communications. You'll also drive the execution of data-driven marketing strategies aimed at achieving desired actions and conversions.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of well-integrated general market and targeted marketing campaigns

Manage relationships with advertising and website services agencies

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive impactful conversions among the organization's target audiences, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize performance

Monitor, report, and utilize insights from digital analytics to inform marketing strategies, conduct quarterly assessments, and provide recommendations for optimization

Maintain accountability for protecting the organization's brand image, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all marketing efforts

Supervise the Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist

Oversee the Marketing Manager in the development of cause marketing strategies and execution

Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for the website and social media channels, fostering engagement and brand loyalty

Partner with the individual giving team to review and refine direct mail and digital fundraising programs

Build expertise in identity-based marketing, digital media, messaging, and loyalty solutions, driving real supporter relationships and measurable outcomes

Provide support to the Marketing & Communications team with writing, event staffing and other projects Qualifications

Four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field

7+ years of experience in marketing and communications roles within a nonprofit organization, business, or institution

Previous experience in a supervisory capacity

Demonstrated proficiency in branding and marketing best practices

Strong awareness of digital marketing, analytics and website best practices

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously

Passion for our mission and the people we serve

Collaborative mindset and enjoyment in working with diverse teams

Competency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Familiarity with website content management systems and social media monitoring tools Compensation

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
