Job Description

Looking for a full-time Dispatcher / VSF Employee who practices a team-player mindset, enjoys serving others, and can work onsite for a 24/7/365 towing company with an impound lot.

Our Dispatchers play an integral role in directly impacting the customer experience when operating a multi-line telephone system and assisting customers onsite. The Dispatcher is the first point of contact to our clients, customers, and fellow coworkers so providing courteous, professional, and efficient customer service is important. Dispatchers must be able to multi-task, pay attention to details, and display excellent communication skills to provide accurate information to our tow-truck drivers so our clients and customers are taken care of in a timely manner. Additionally, Dispatchers respond to customer inquiries related to services provided and coordinate with other departments when scheduling pick up or drop off of vehicles.

Our Dispatchers receive, retain, and accurately record information in a fast-paced setting and perform their job duties in compliance with the TDLR regulations and laws. They also assist customers with the release of vehicles from the impound lot, handle paperwork and payments, use the GPS to track locations of the tow-truck drivers, and handle general cleaning as well as other assigned duties.

The right candidate will have an eagerness to learn and will receive on-the-job training.

What you bring:

· Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of different types of people effectively and calmly with professionalism and respect in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills while operating a multi-line telephone, entering data in computer software, and dispatching tow-truck drivers.

· Excellent time-management and organizational skills to be able to schedule and coordinate with clients, customers, and tow-truck drivers.

· Knowledge of TDLR regulations and laws is a bonus, as well as the TOPS software, but training will be provided.

· Physical ability to lift and move boxes of paper, files, etc.

Other Requirements:

· Reliable transportation and punctuality.

· Must be able to pass a drug test as well as random drug testing throughout employment.

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

· Have or can obtain a valid TDLR VSF Employee License.Company Description

We are a towing company that tows for many dealerships and wholesale accounts as well as the cities of Farmers Branch, Carrollton, Coppell and Addison. Living with in 15 miles of company is a plus.
