DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and report overall integration schedule, budget, and risks for highly complex design, development and cross-discipline spacecraft project
Collaborating with cross-discipline leaders, stakeholders and customers to understand and anticipate needs
Lead program support efforts for contract design milestone strategy and implementation and ensure successful milestone completion
Liaison between program management and SE&I/Engineering for project design status, integration, strategy and strategic implementation
Monitor, evaluate and report metrics to stakeholders (schedule, cost, procurement, project health, risks, etc) and offer solutions on possible improvements
Monitor, track and push for resolution on major issues and challenges
Create, maintain and prioritize the product/system back-log with direction and input from program management and Chief Engineer
Work with Stakeholders to develop and maintain a product schedule in an Agile hardware and software development environment
Ensure highest value items are worked on first
Leading efforts on complex issues to help resolve challenges; Solving problems and making decisions with trade-off analysis to keep deliverables on track
Balancing multiple diverse projects
Communication horizontally and vertically for progress, status and risk
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, will consider relevant years of related experience
Must have at least 5 years of professional experience as a project manager or product owner
Direct experience leading full life-cycle projects from concept to final product
Spacecraft / Aerospace experience highly preferred

Requirements
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).

Skills
Must be well versed in agile principles, methodology and supporting framework
Strong prioritization skills for managing product backlog to a milestone drive schedule
Exposure to Project Management principles, or a project management related coursework or certification is a plus.
The candidate must be able to develop presentations on demand and produce quality results.
Candidate must be motivated and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Candidate must be flexible in an environment of constantly changing requirements and work well within a team environment.
