Job Description:

As a Network Admin, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our clients' network infrastructure. This hybrid role requires a blend of technical skills, including experience with firewall management, LAN technologies, wireless networking, and Cisco systems. The ideal candidate will have a CCNA certification and 3-5 years of experience in network administration, with a strong focus on route and switch configurations and new site deployments. Additionally, this role involves occasional travel within the Greater Phoenix area to support our clients' diverse networking needs.

Responsibilities:

Perform firewall configuration and management, including making changes on Palo Alto firewalls.

Provide support for LAN technologies, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.

Deploy and maintain wireless networking solutions, with an understanding of Aruba technology preferred.

Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.

Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to design and implement network solutions tailored to specific business requirements.

Assist with new site builds, including network infrastructure setup and configuration.

Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

CCNA certification or equivalent industry certification required.

3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering roles.

Strong understanding of firewall management principles, with experience working with Palo Alto firewalls preferred.

Proficiency in LAN technologies, including VLANs, routing protocols, and subnetting.

Experience with wireless networking technologies, with knowledge of Aruba systems a plus.

Solid understanding of Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to travel within the Greater Phoenix area as needed.
