Retail Community Pharmacy located in Santa Ana, CA is hiring full-time bilingual Spanish/English licensed pharmacy technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills.

Below are job descriptions for pharmacy technicians:

Job Duties:

Communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone; answer questions and requests; refer inquiries to the pharmacist.

Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.

Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.

Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.

Organize medications for the pharmacist to dispense by reading the medication orders and prescriptions; typing; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.

Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.

Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.

Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
