The Technical Standards Consultants (TSC) possess an in-depth understanding of audit requirements, underlying regulations, industry practices, the auditing process and statistical analysis. The TSC must become proficient in Steritech protocols and procedures as well as specific customer brand requirements to provide a high level of service and technical support to the Steritech team as well as clients.

Manage client-specific audit forms and training materials

Review statistical analysis of auditor performance and follow up on any potential concerns

Provide technical support to the Steritech team and clients related to science and best practices

Review completed audit reports for accuracy and conformance to Steritech standards

Create and maintain training programs, both ongoing and ad-hoc client specific training needs for Specialists

Manage client appeals, determine Steritech's response, and provide advice on standard practices when needed

Complete shadow audits in the field, as necessary, to maintain proficiency in the accounts supported

Wage Rate: $62,000-$67,000

Requirements

What do you need?

A minimum of 2 years of experience performing food safety and operational excellence assessments

Achieved the role of Brand Standards Specialist II or higher

A minimum 1 year of experience serving as a Brand field trainer in a strategic account

Must be able to create and analyze statistical summaries of audit results, draw conclusions and devise appropriate action plans to improve Specialist performance

Partial completion of the Institute Career track (minimum of two tasks)

Must be able to successfully complete Steritech's Auditor Training Program, including ServSafe certification at the Trainer level, pass the General Skills Written Exam and complete Specialist Field Certification

Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, seeing projects through from inspection to completion

Currently CP-FS certified

Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 50%

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Must pass pre-employment background screen

Valid Driver's License/Clean Driving Record
