Reporting to the CEO, as the VP, Talent (HR), you will be a strong voice to the leadership team, and collaborate closely to ensure alignment between people strategies and overall business goals. You will drive a holistic strategy around accountability, performance management, continuous feedback, employee retention, and learning and development.

Ultimately, the VP, Talent is responsible for ensuring our people matters are led and managed with integrity and Semios continues to be a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What you will do:

HR Strategy & Execution

Create and align the strategic priorities for Talent, considering the input and direction from the leadership team as well as the needs of specific key markets

Support markets in prioritizing their Talent initiatives and ensure alignment between plans globally for consistency of culture and employee experience

Ensure key initiatives are resourced and there are work plans to deliver them

Identify and monitor critical KPIs that will ensure the strategy is being implemented and making the desired impact

Employee Experience And Engagement

Reinforce the company's culture, values, and norms

Create programs that enhance employee experience, satisfaction, and productivity

Foster a sense of inclusion and community within the organization. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in line with the reality of each market

Orchestrate the employee engagement survey process across markets, align engagement plans globally

Ensure onboarding programs are robust globally

Performance Culture

Design the processes for goal setting and performance management that will enable a global culture of high achievement; open feedback and development focus

Ensure reward processes are in place to ensure competitiveness, fairness and recognition of high performance

Organizational Development

Leverage modern and traditional approaches, lead and guide organization design activities to set the organization up effectively for future success

Support ELT in devising a roadmap and strategy for each team linked to our growth ambition

Ensure there are robust succession plans in place for key management roles

Recruiting

Formulate recruitment strategies to ensure a continuous supply of high-caliber talent to deliver on business and culture goals

Lead and direct recruiting activities

Global talent pipeline and succession planning

Raise Semios profile as a well-recognized employer in the market enhancing our employee brand

Learning & Development

Design and deliver the learning tools needed to support Semios agile culture and ways of working

Design a learning agenda and deliver training programs across functions

Partner with senior leaders to identify leadership development needs

Partner with HR teams in different business units to identify key needs and priorities; and ensure smooth roll out of the prioritized learning initiatives

Mentor and coach managers in North America to build effective leadership skills

Budget Management and HR Analytics

Robust analytics and people costs

Oversight on all people-related costs including bonuses and other incentives

Ensure our people cost structure is aligned to FP&A standards

Build and oversee Talent functional budget and learning & development budget

Risk & Compliance

Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations highlighting and elevating key risks to the business and opportunities for improvement as well as deliver on education and compliance in relation to Business Integrity initiatives

Requirements

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

15+ years of progressive Talent Management experience with a minimum of 5 years leadership and supervisory experience

Experience in a high-growth industry. Ability to scale with focus on recruitment and total rewards

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline

Global Technology Talent experience: Canada, USA and Australia

Able to lead cultural change and transformational initiatives

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with senior leadership on company-wide strategy

Proven track record of designing and leading cross-functional business transformation initiatives

Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into organization development plans

Ability to consult with and add value to the senior leadership team on all issues relating to human resources

Excellent knowledge of employment legislation, regulations, and human resource management principles

Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion

Excellent people management and leadership skills

Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Computer literacy skills

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a technology company

CPHR (Certified Professional in Human Resources) or other professional HR designation

Experience with HRIS systems implementation

Salary range: $180,000 to $200,000 per year plus bonus

Please note that the base pay offered may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, as well as business and organizational needs.
