Bi-Lingual Molding Supervisor 3rd Shift

Come work for an established manufacturer of high-end emblems, grilles, and decorative trim for the automotive industry. Lape. er area manufacturer is looking for an experienced Bi-Lingual Molding Supervisor to join their team. This is a 3rd Shift position, Mon-Fri, 10P-6A pay is based upon experience ranging from $16.00.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible to function as a Molding Supervisor and to follow all IATF16949 and 6S instructions.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE JOB

-Determine employee assignments.

-Production reporting.

-Enforce safety and housekeeping “6S” rules at all times.

-Fill in for Molding Manager in his/her absence.

-Monitor and document SPC and production charts, as required.

-Monitor all processes and troubleshooting, as required.

-Maintain and ensure company policies and procedures.

-Recommend and participate in quality and productivity improvements.

-Maintain part quality to customer standards.

-Training employees in the department and updating the training matrix as required.

-Back up as process technician, as needed.

-Assist with scheduling of product to machine, mix and fit.

- Ensures that all applicable QS9000 and ISO 14001 procedures and work instructions are followed.

-Any other assignments as directed by management.

- Act as a back –up Quality Auditor

-Accident reporting- Must complete the Accident Investigation by end of that shift with pictures if possible and have

the employee complete an accident report as soon as possible.

AUTHORITY

-Adjust and process associated equipment.

-Direct employees in production process.

-Initiate discipline and document, as required.

-Accountable for implementation of the Environmental Management System as it pertains to this position.

EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (Preferred)

-Machine and process knowledge.

-Fluent in Spanish.

-Basic SPC.

-Math and reading skills, as applies.

-Effectively communicate to teams and management.

-Knowledge of good health and safety practices.

-Trained in Lockout/Tagout, DOT 126/RCRA, HAZWOPER, Emergency Action Plan (or Incident Command System).
