Night Shift Disc Fabricator

Qualifications/Experience

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Determines thickness of disk material required by using established formulas and procedures.

Cuts material using cutting table or square shear.

Set proper die in hydraulic or air press.

Blanks and forms material and conducts burst testing.

Adjusts burst pressure by annealing or stress relieving in heat treat ovens.

Performs temperature testing if required.

Records pertinent lot card data, stamps disk name tags and attaches to disk assembly.

Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Must be able to effectively operate with minimal training air and hydraulic presses, ovens, power and hand shears, nibblers, punches, layout equipment, punch presses, and any other equipment deemed necessary by the company.

HS/GED

The perfect candidate will have machine operator experience and willing to learn. Attendance, punctuality and reliability are very important.

Pay: $20+/hr

Shift: 3pm-1:30am Monday - Thursday (Fridays overtime)
