Certification Incentive Certified Automation Professional $3500 ISA CCST III $3500 Master Electrician $3500 Journeyman Electrician $2000 ISA CCST II $2000 ISA CCST I $1000 General Statement of Duties & Organizational Responsibilities Performs skilled work in the maintenance, repair, modifications, installations, commissioning of electrical, electronic, pneumatic equipment, instruments, associated controls, computer systems, LAN, Ethernet, SCADA, and related controls.

Provides functional leadership when necessary.

Works under the direction of a supervisor.

Electrician- Instrument Technician Electrician- Instrument Technician Senior Typical Qualifications Electrical- Instrument Technician Minimum Qualifications Education, License, and Certification Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.

Completion of a four-year apprenticeship in related field or an Academic degree or trade school certification (or equivalent) in a related technology.

Valid Driver’s License.

Electrical- Instrument Technician Senior Minimum Qualifications Education, License, and Certification Graduation from High School or GED equivalent.

Completion of a four-year apprenticeship in related field or an Academic degree or trade school certification (or equivalent) in a related technology.

International Society of Automation’s (ISA) Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) Level II certification.

Valid Driver’s License.

Desired Qualifications Certified as Journeyman/Master Electrician.

International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) Level I certification.

Advanced education in fields related to the job (electrical, electronic, pneumatic systems, leadership training). Working Conditions Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock more than 2/3 of the time.

The employee is exposed to work with explosives 1/3 to 2/3 of the time; and to work in high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration less than 1/3 of the time.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
