JOB DUTIES
Provide process design kits (PDKs) to Polar’s foundry customers
Develop, release, and maintain PDK elements, such as circuit design components (schematic symbols, pcells), design verification decks (DRC, LVS, extract), and pattern density checking tools
Create design environments within Polar to support design and development of power semiconductor devices, electrical and physical characterization modules, PCMs, in-line process monitors
Receive PDKs from Polar affiliates and development partners and release these PDKs to users
Administer third-party EDA tools
Develop and maintain applications used for automated reticle build from customer GDS data
Identify, order, install, and maintain Linux software solutions used by the Polar engineering and technology teams
Support administration of Linux network used by Polar technical staff, including software and hardware configurations, projects, maintenance schedules, and service agreements
Provide solutions for design and release of physical and electrical test structures needed to monitor and verify successful fabrication of Polar’s semiconductor products
Provide training and support to users of the Polar PDKs, design environment and applications
