Responsibilities:

Our Logistics Manager is the key logistics contact for issue resolution and is responsible for overall logistics planning including Import, Export and Domestic movements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategies and coordinate the movement of both material and equipment to facility or field location. In addition, you will oversee all transport and shipping activity for Greater Thailand.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Direct and optimize all Logistics movements including, import/export, customs clearance and domestic freight

Resolve any arising problems or complaints

Manage outside vendors such as Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers

Supervise and coach team members

Consult with various internal customers to identify opportunities for improvement

Ensure compliance to all regulatory laws for Importing and Exporting, Thai Customs and Department of Minerals and Fuels (DMF)

Conduct audits on documentation to ensure adherence all regulatory requirements

Know and understand Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Program and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by Manager within the physical constraints of the job

Qualifications:

Required:

Local Logistics and Regulatory (Customs and DMF) process knowledge

Extensive knowledge in Thai Government Authorities for Import/Export and applicable privilege, permits and licenses

An ability to interpret financial data and estimate costs

Relevant Oil and Gas Industry Experience

Computer Literate

Proficient English communication, both written and verbal

Supervisory Experience

10+ years of Logistics Experience with management experience

Shipping Dangerous Goods qualifications

High School Diploma / GED

Preferred:

Relevant Product Line knowledge

Relevant Systems (JDE/OTM/TMS) and process knowledge

BA/BS Degree Qualified
