Responsibilities:
Lead and manage project teams, products, and processes across the lifecycle of the project and the FFSS contract
Responsible for program deliverables
Evaluate, determine, and document specific requirements related to projects and translates those requirements into resource and deliverable based roadmap with target release dates for accomplishment
Develop and manages a project risk register for each project
Provide routine reporting of project milestones, risks, impediments, and escalation requirements
Present to leadership, stakeholders and/or governance groups, the vision and strategy of the project, the roadmap of planned deliveries, and capabilities to be delivered in each release
Conduct cross-organizational coordination as required in support of project delivery
Expedite and coordinates services to assist in managing complex enterprise projects
Manage assigned tasks to completion within the schedule, budget, and scope of the project
Qualifications:
Project Management certified (e.g., PMP, CAPM, CPMP, APM) Preferred
Ability to Run project across the full lifecycle of the project
Experience in managing Stakeholders
Innate/documented ability to translate project activities into executive-level reports, correspondence, and presentations
Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Service Now, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Proficient in the use of various project management tracking tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences’ cross multiple levels of the organization to include managing through cross-functional organizations
Experience with leading, coordinating, and facilitating meetings to review project status with core project team members, key stakeholders, and corporate team members
Experience in developing and tracking progress against detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, issues resolution and capacity planning for multiple, simultaneous projects
Highly flexible with appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables
Education:
Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline and 15 years’ Experience
Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (25 years total)
Clearance:
The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
