Job Description
M & D Mower is a locally owned business that specializes in the service and sales of replacement parts for Outdoor Power Equipment. Through our eCommerce site and retail walk-in business we have a strong following for customer service. M & D stocks, sells, and services new equipment and is also an Authorized Service Center for many national brands.
Customer Service duties will include answering phones and checking the status of orders for customers. Other duties will include assistance with daily paperwork, data-entry, tracking of orders, completing refunds, warranty claims and repair management and any other tasks deemed necessary during the course of the day. Training will be provided to learn the other positions in M & D, product lines, how to research products and about the other services provided by M & D.
Primary Duties
Answering phones and assisting customers with their needs, transferring calls or taking messages for return calls
Managing warranty claims and normal service tickets
Assisting in processing daily paperwork from order picking and inventory updates
Processing customer refunds on a bi-weekly basis
Assist with daily order processing in the Interchange system
Assigning shipping information to 3rd-party selling sites where necessary
Assist with printing monthly reports
Other responsibilities may include
Printing labels for inventory items
Helping to ensuring the office is properly equipped with supplies
Writing service orders and sales orders at customer counter
Keeping sales documents / diagrams current
Qualifications
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Task oriented and able to work within time constraints
Familiarity with email client software such as MS Outlook and Gmail
Microsoft Office product knowledge is beneficial
Customer oriented, friendly, and courteous
