Description:

• Provide guidance and leadership to painting operations teams on a daily basis. Work performed daily in residential and commercial settings may include interior or exterior renovations – demo, drywallers, tapers, prep, paint, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and décor supervision to subcontractors.

• Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties to ensure timely completion and quality of work on all projects.

• Perform personnel functions, such as selection, training, or evaluation.

• Meet with stakeholders to understand the scope and expectations of projects you will be supporting.

• Monitor suppliers such as paint or equipment to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.

• Develop and provide leadership to franchisees related to the successful operation of a painting and decorating business (marketing, sales, production, financial, hiring, and skill development.

• Development of strategic business plans with franchise owners.

• Facilitate and support franchisees and their key staff as it relates to recruiting, training and development of their people.

• Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund company operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.

• Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.

• Reviewing invoices for payment and collection of receivables.

• Develop or implement product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions.

• Supervise Subcontractors (Demo, Drywallers, Tapers, Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, and Painters (5-10)

Travel Requirements:

This position requires limited domestic travel (once a week) within Pasco, Hillsborough, or Pinellas Counties to unanticipated client sites.

The experience and education requirements are:

3 years of experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Facilities Specialist

Skills: Experience to include, 3 years of experience in the following:

• Coordinate painting and general contracting operations.

• Generating sales for painting services.

• Coaching, planning, reviewing financial statements, and leading high performing business teams.

• Multi-tasking of projects and project management.

Certification:

Certification in Facility Management
