Summary

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION.

**MUST HAVE ORACLE WMS EXPERIENCE**

The Oracle Specialist contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by ensuring that the Oracle WMS system functionality operates at an optimal level. This position combines technical proficiency, administrative responsibility, and security awareness to maintain the Oracle network.

The Oracle Specialist will perform administrative tasks within the Oracle environment that will include managing users, configuring system settings and making changes that impact the overall system functionality. Additionally, the Oracle Spcecialist has extensive access to system commands and tools within the system and can assume roles for specific functions.

The Oracle Specialist is expected to act thoughtfully considering the extensive access to system commands and security should be a primary concern.

Key Outcomes Expected

Provide day-to-day support, including resolution of incidents related to WMS:

Force Printing

Failed Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN)

Unit of Measure (UOM) Issue Management

Confirmation of order not shipped correctly.

Carrier Support

Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root cause analysis.

Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle WMS-related issues to minimize disruptions in operations.

Coordinate with system providers to resolve issues quickly and enhance system capabilities continually.

Create and update standard operating procedures for data conversion tasks.

A good understanding of supply chain planning and forecasting concepts, methods, and best practices

Critical Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviors

Must demonstrate proficiency in WMS systems; Oracle preferred.

Must have strong knowledge across the following areas on WMS: Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Inventory Control, Task Management, and MSCA.

Must have working experience in WMS administration, configuration, support and maintenance.

Demonstrates ability to verbally and/or visually communicate with others.

Demonstrates effective analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills (can gather and analyze data and information and draw conclusions). Able to think logically and analytically.

Demonstrates a solution-oriented approach to solving problems.

Experience and Education

High school diploma or GED required. IT Certificates and/or Oracle Certifications preferred.

At least 2-3 years' experience in commercial WMS system - Oracle preferred (Version 12.2.6)

At least 1-2 years' experience in end-to-end implementation in Oracle

At least 1-2 years' Mobile supply chain application development (MSCA)

Physical Demands

Must be able to work proficiently with computers and other office equipment.

Work may require sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer.

Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).

Work Environment

Work is performed onsite in a warehouse and/or office environment subject to temperature variances.
