Description:

The Inland First Mile CT is the central control tower for Transport Execution for Truck movements across the India Bangladesh Area (IBS) network. Control Tower Team is the central owner to manage the end to end process across order aggregation, planning and indenting; and operates with a vision to provide uninterrupted flows by managing capacities, tracking indents and reacting to network disruptions and exceptions. CT team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Inland First Mile transportation network and thereby has direct impact on Maersk's ability to serve customers on time.

Ensure process and compliance in place for capacity Planning for the key hubs and customers, coordinating with the execution team and ground operations.

Planning, forecasting and operation control through process monitoring.

Work closely with Operations, Planning, product, customer experience team, vendor management to ensure smooth delivery operations on a day-to-day basis.

Track and drive for continuous improvement across all defined Goals/KPI/metrics.

Periodic and on time publication of performance data visibility.

Deep dive into key areas to identify areas of improvement.

Gather data and analyse data to arrive at actionable insights.

Data aggregation and drive key metrics like L1 adherence, indent timelines, SAP readiness, 100% visibility of shipments, OTD and NPS

Analysing and recommending transportation and freight costs, appropriate routing, and carriers to be use

Leadership reporting - creating dashboards on key metrics

Daily Stand-up with ground execution team with RCA for the scorecard metrics.

Do deep dives on recurring issues and bring a systematic closure to those issues.

Process review and improvement in all function areas where CT interacts.

Review all processes and make any upgrades or changes requirement to prepare SAPTMS implementation

At the time of implementation, prepare the area for the same and ensure 100% implementation of all modules in collaboration of cross functions
