AKABA LLC provides home, center, and community-based ABA services to children diagnosed with Autism throughout the Worcester County area. Our communicative and dynamic team is in need of a committed, reliable and strong Program Assistant- Therapist to support our therapists and clients in our Auburn, MA Center.
The ideal candidate for this position is excited to work in an entrepreneurial yet highly professional environment. This candidate is a team player who takes initiative and is comfortable with both incoming and outgoing calls, assisting with client services (when needed), organizing and scanning files, updating spreadsheets, and participating in the hiring and recruitment process.
This is a great position for someone who is experienced with administrative support, childcare or daycare, and has worked with individuals with disabilities.
This is position is Monday - Friday 12 PM - 7 PM and Saturday 10AM-4PM with a pay range of $21+hour (DOE).

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

Creative approach to projects and process improvements
Able to stay calm, collected and professional when situations are escalated
Responsibilities:
Office reception functions (i.e. Coordinating walk-ins and managing hiring appointments)
Maintain and coordinate patient care - ie. assist therapists when needed and build relationships with a variety of clients
Some direct client visits may be required as part of learning basic ABA skills to build your understanding of the services and general ability to support Therapists while at the center.
Handles all phones calls in a professional and courteous manner
Assists the HR and Marketing departments with their campaigns & efforts
Communicates important information to employees and patients
Participate in special projects to improve the center/facility and program services
Education and experience:
HS Diploma or GED required
Personal Vehicle & Driver's License required
Two years of experience working in a professional setting is highly preferred
Prior administrative experience in a medical setting is highly preferred
Education beyond High School degree is preferred. (ie. Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, Certified Educator, etc.)
This is position is Monday - Friday 12 PM - 7 PM and Saturday 10AM-4PM with a pay range of $21+hour (DOE).
