Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the Texarkana, TX area for immediate employment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with previous experience in the manufacturing industry who can adjust, install, maintain, and repair all equipment, machinery, and plant facilities.

Essential Skills Required:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for applying technical skills, knowledge, and experience to implement and/or repair:

a. Electrical

b. Pipe Fitting & Plumbing

c. Welding

d. Hydraulic

e. Pneumatics

f. Automatic Equipment Operation (setup, repair, and rear down)

g. Must know Shop Mathematics

h. Interpret Drawings

i. Read and Understand Schematics

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Electrical

Pneumatics

Machine installation and start-up

Troubleshooting skills

4+ years of manufacturing/operations maintenance experience.

Self-motivated and disciplined team player.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Must be a Team Oriented Person

Detail-oriented, conscientious and able to work independently.

Consistently demonstrate a positive approach and professional demeanor.

Ability to handle exposure to temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment. Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.

Must be able to stand for long period of time.

Forklift experience preferred
