Packing Operator Warehouse

We're currently seeking a skilled Packing Operator to join our team at our Broadview location. The Packing Operator will play a crucial role in our production process by ensuring accurate packaging, adherence to quality standards, and efficient operation of packing equipment. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require working weekends and holidays, as well as occasional assistance in other departments.

Operator Job Duties:

1. Operate packing equipment to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products.

2. Monitor packaging process to maintain quality standards and meet production targets.

3. Conduct regular inspections of packaging materials and equipment to identify and address any issues or defects.

4. Adjust packing machinery settings as needed to optimize performance and minimize waste.

5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing area to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.

6. Collaborate with team members to coordinate packaging activities and resolve any issues that arise.

7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

8. Assist with training new team members on packing procedures and equipment operation.

9. Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of packing operations.

Schedule:

1st shift

Monday-Friday + some Saturday's

1st shift 6am-3pm

2nd shift

Monday-Friday + some Saturday's

2pm-11pm

3rd shift

Monday-Friday + some Saturday's

10pm-7am

Pay:

1st shift $17.50/Hour; $26.25/Hour overtime

2nd shift $18.25/ Hour; $27.38/Hour overtime

3rd shift $19.25/Hour; $28.87/Hour overtime

Operator requirements

1. Previous experience as a packing operator in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

2. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

4. Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot packing equipment issues.

5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

7. Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

9. Non-slip shoes are mandatory for safety reasons.
