Job Description

Specialty Produce offers its associates the opportunity to grow personally/professionally and to contribute to the success of a dynamic organization.

This position is responsible for ensuring the company product is packed timely and accurately. This will help ensure we are able to service our customers effectively and in a manner that exceeds their expectations.

General Accountabilities:

Pack and Stack Orders Assigned

Load product into delivery vehicles

Cleaning Warehouse Areas

The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1-2 years of related experience (preferred)

Experience using hand trucks (preferred)

We are a Drug-Free workplace so qualified candidates must be willing to complete and pass a drug screen

Must have a flexible schedule as the schedule for this position varies from week to week.

Fast Paced-Will need to be able to work quickly and effectively always, as we work within time restraints for this position.

Time Management — Must be able to manage time effectively.

Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

Computer Skills- basic computer (e.g. word, excel, etc.)

Mathematical Skills/Ability-Basic math skills (e.g. counting, subtracting, multiplying, etc.)

Physical Demands:

Continuously Moving, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs +

Standing 8 hrs. or more

Walking 8 hrs. or more

Bending, Stooping, Kneeling 8 hrs. or more

Must be able to withstand low temperature as this job is primarily done in a freezer/cooler.

Must be able to see, hear and talk to perform this job effectively and safely
