Quality Engineer Internship

We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer Intern to join our team at our Mirandola site. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ensuring that production and process control activities comply with our quality system and international regulations governing medical device manufacturing and distribution. In this role, you will work closely with our quality engineering team to evaluate non-conforming products, analyze data, and propose corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collect and critically analyze data and take disposition decision on non-conforming products identified in production.

Support on the generation of the evaluation of the risk posed by the observed NC on products already distributed (HHA) to determine if Stop Shipment and/or FSCA are indicated.

Whenever applicable support external manufacturers of semi-finished and finished products in the management of any detected non-conformities.

Notify suppliers of any non-conformance related to purchased material and evaluate corrective actions consistency versus the internal production process.

Provide support to the batch record review for subassemblies/ semifinished products when needed.

The Individual

Degree in Technical and Scientific disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and Biology).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Knowledge of ISO 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
