Health Information Management Technician Opportunity!

Location: Commerce, CA.

Schedule: M-F 8/4:30

Term: 2-month with possible extension

Pay range: $23hr-$26hr.

REQUIREMENTS

AHIMA Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) is preferred.

3. Minimum of three years of experience in medical records processing, in a customer-facingis role.

4. At least one year of experience navigating and querying in multiple healthcare record systems. EPIC experience highly preferred.

5. Intermediate computer skills required

Overview

Under moderate supervision, this role compiles, processes, and maintains medical records of clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. Performs specialized health information activities necessary to organize, maintain, and use electronic and paper patient health records. Possesses high customer service, strong analytic and problem-solving skills, which require interpretation and explanation of policy and external requirements related to chart documentation, privacy, and release of information.
