Job Description

FedEx is looking for full Time home delivery drivers to provide delivery services to homes and businesses in the St. Rose, LA area.

Guaranteed minimum base pay of $130/day

CDL License is NOT required! (Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, or DHL is a plus!)

Terminal Location: 310 James Dr. East, St. Rose, LA 70087

Schedules Available: FLEXIBLE - Full time is 5 days per week; weekend availability is required! Work Hours: 7:30am - Delivery Completion (Around 5:00pm)

Delivery Driver Benefits:

WEEKLY Paychecks!

Paid Training (Typically lasts 1 week, depending on experience)

Salary - Starting $130/day

Health Benefits offered after seniority dates are achieved! (After 60 days)

Vacation Pay after 1 year

Production pay after 90 days

Delivery Driver Requirements:

At least 21 years of age

1+ Year(s) verifiable professional driving experience in last 3 years. (Any driving that is part of a job where pay was received - Uber, Construction, Food Delivery, Lyft, Amazon, Landscaping, etc.)

We are also looking for drivers who are willing to travel on occasion.

Louisiana Drivers Licenses MUST be a Class D license

Clean driving record - No accidents or violations in 3 years

Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen

Must submit to a background check

Ability to make between 150-180 stops per day

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions

Amazon experience qualifies as driving experience!

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Arrive at St. Rose, LA FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages around 7:30am.

You will be delivering in urban, dense routes in St. Rose, LA using a step-style van.

Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily following safety guidelines.

Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight without damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
