About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Lead to join our organization in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning, accounting, and reporting functions to ensure financial stability and sustainability. The Finance Lead reports to the Senior Management team and works closely with other departments to manage financial risk and support the growth of the organization.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international standards and local laws.

Prepare and manage the budget, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Oversee financial accounting and reporting, including consolidation of financial statements for the African Offices (Casablanca, Dakar, Cape Town).

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the senior management team and external stakeholders.

Coordinate and develop relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.

Identify, manage and mitigate financial risks, while contributing to the financial resilience of the organization.

Participate in organizational strategic planning and ensure alignment of all financial decisions with the strategic plan and operational objectives.

Oversee the procurement and management of all financial system integrations, ensuring they are operating efficiently.

Manage the financial operations team and ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.

Mentor and train the finance team, maintain high standards and foster a growth mindset.

Competences & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Master's Degree preferred.

4-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.

CPA/CA/CFA certification preferred.

Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills.

Experience in leading and supervising a finance team.

Experience in a multinational company is required.

Experience in financial management or project management in the African context is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in French and English is essential.

Strong ethical standards and a track record of integrity.
