Sirius Staffing is seeking multiple Packaging Technicians to join our team in St. Louis, MO, working for a Large manufacturing facility. These are temp to perm employment working Day Shift. As part of our safety protocols, employees are required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance daily to ensure proper fitting of respiratory equipment.

Day shift, Mon – Fri 6a-2:30p
Summary:
To stage, fill, cap, label, and over-pack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products per approved packaging specifications and according to safety and quality protocols. Complete appropriate packaging documentation per FDA, ISO, and GMP procedures and deliver products to inventory.
Responsibilities:
Use electronic balances to weigh materials accurately
Fill hazardous products and utilize pumps for bulk solutions transfer
Filter bulk materials using pumps and in-line or vacuum filters
Torque caps manually and operate semi-automated cappers
Hand label as needed and operate automated labelers
Assist with loading bottles and pack-off during fill line operations
Pack kits according to procedures and safely transport materials using material handling equipment
Clean laboratory glassware and batch tanks
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
5-6 years of prior experience in a chemical environment.
Proficiency in mixing, packaging, and labeling chemicals.
Basic math and data entry skills.
Fundamental computer literacy.
Eagerness to learn and adapt.
Preferred experience with SAP, ISO, Pharma, or biotech environments.
Physical ability and respiratory fit required.
Quality and Safety Procedures:
Daily clean-shaven appearance.
Steel-toed shoes required
Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including a respirator
Follow Good Documentation Practices and document equipment use and calibration status
Identify and correct unsafe situations, participate in safety activities, and assist in implementing process improvement ideas
Comply with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 requirements and participate in 6S activities
Maintain good housekeeping and audit readiness
