Pool Gate Guard

Duties and Responsibilities * Collect passes, clean bathrooms, arrange pool furniture, empty trash cans and hose down decks * Assist pool team in providing an overall safe environment for the residents * Perform patron sign-in duties * Assist and interact professionally with a variety of different personalities that may enter the pool area * Contribute to the Aquatics Division Team effort by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed * Comply with all Southern Management's policies and procedures * Perform various other duties as assigned by Supervisor Skills Required * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to handle confrontations * Excellent perception and awareness Key Performance Indicators * Exhibits the following performance expectations: * Teamwork * Dependability * Communication * Understands Role, Responsibilities and Job Skills * Time Management and Planning * Quality of Work * Safety * Effective relationships with team members, management teams, as well as guests are maintained * Knowledge of SMC and policies is effectively presented through training to team members * Treat each team member as a valued customer * Respect each team member's worth, contribution, and desire for accomplishment * Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance * Resolve concerns in a timely, courteous, professional manner.
