Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technology strategy, design and development of the platform and necessary framework and services

Write Restful microservices utilizing the concurrency of Python, flexibility of MongoDB and reliability of Kafka

Work experience / Knowledge on Frontend technologies like JavaScript, React.js, HTML, CSS.

Build responsive & re-usable UI components using ReactJS, as per the specifications and guidelines

Maintain & manage the state of the application using Redux and be in sync with the server. Rapidly iterate prototypes based on design updates and new requirements.

Solve and Manage Complex Technical problems.

Take end to end ownership of components and be responsible for the subsystems that you work on from design, code, testing, integration, deployment, enhancements, etc.

Write high-quality code and taking responsibility for their task

Solve performance bottlenecks

Mentor junior engineers

Deliver with quality, on-time in a fast-paced start-up environment

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Should be flexible enough for in-person discussion.

5.5+ years of experience in Backend or fullstack roles.

Strong experience of Python or Go programming language, MQTT or Kafka on the backend.

Strong experience / Knowledge on Javascript and React.

Expert in REST APIs

Experience on Linux or Unix OS environment

TCP/IP protocol

Strong knowledge in RDBMS or NoSQL Server

Good understanding data structures and algorithms

Experience in developing backend for enterprise systems like ecommerce / manufacturing / supply chain / etc.

Excellent understanding of Debugging, performance and optimization techniques

Strong communication and collaboration skills with management, product, QA, UI/UX teams

Expected to be a role model for young engineers, have a strong sense of code quality and enforce code quality within the team

Excellent skills in gathering requirement and translating them to a working system
