Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform intermediate to advanced, senior-level SharePoint systems administration, maintain, support, administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of related enterprise-level technology platforms, but not limited to, enterprise-level Microsoft technologies and business-specific technology platforms;

Administer, support, and develop SharePoint sites and relevant content for company users, site owners, content facilitators, etc., to support business operations;

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems related to data, software, servers, cloud systems, and usage;

Support SharePoint system backups and testing disaster recovery plans;

Track and optimize performance, security, and storage utilization of related systems;

Participate in developing migration and upgrade strategies for SharePoint;

Administer appropriate security controls, governance, compliance, and data loss prevention;

Ensure complex customer needs are monitored, addressed, documented, and resolved promptly and effectively through customer satisfaction;

Efficiently manage, research, and troubleshoot relative incoming incident and service management requests, prioritizing them accordingly, and escalating requests as appropriate to other IT team members in a fast-paced team environment (telephone, email, and tracking systems);

Gather relevant information and regularly update managers and teammates regarding progress, risk management, potential business impact, resource management, timing, overruns, etc

Create and maintain documentation that includes the organization's design, requirements, and user manuals; and

Performing additional assignments and duties as assigned.

Education and Licensure

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or business administration from an accredited college or university, along with a minimum of five (5) years of IT industry-related experience or over nine (9) years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework in the field or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. (required)

A Minimum of 3 Years of Hands-on Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) utilizing SharePoint as the data source.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, experience writing requirements/specifications. (required)

Strong experience analyzing business needs and writing requirements/specifications. (required)

Optimization of data stores for fast, efficient querying for our reporting infrastructure.

Intermediate to advanced level of relational database objects (Stored Procedures, Functions, Queries, Views) and knowledge of Data structures and data warehouse principles.

Experience with data manipulation and processing of multiple data sources.

Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and best practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. (required)

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. (required)

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Ability to adapt quickly to existing infrastructure comprised of various languages and back-end data. (required)

Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting related systems and software applications, including multi-platform operating systems and third-party applications related to this position. (required)

Experience providing end-user call support, prioritization, and escalation of service needs. (required)

Ability to work under pressure and exercise sound professional judgment in analyzing problems to resolve or escalate intermediate to advanced system issues. (required)

Ability to handle multiple tasks to completion and through to customer satisfaction. (required)

Proven organization/planning, customer service, and response skills. (required)

Self-starter with excellent time management skills, able to meet project scope and timeline requirements. (required)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Experience migrating SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online utilizing ShareGate.

Experience in SharePoint PowerShell modules to configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks.

Experience investigating and resolving SharePoint performance issues, such as front-end web server performance, indexing performance, and working with the Structured Query Language (SQL).

Experience troubleshooting issues in a growing, multiple classifications, multiple enclave environment, including SharePoint configuration and web part issues.

Familiarity with Office365 applications/tools and SharePoint-related tools, such as Sharegate or similar

Proficiency with systems-related diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, including new installs, upgrades, optimizations, and general day-to-day operations. (required)
