Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer

Full Stack - java heavy - 75% backend and 25 % front end

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in J2EE, web service development, cloud technologies, event handling, and database management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate leadership skills to contribute to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using J2EE technologies.

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful web services in a cloud environment, with a focus on AWS services.

• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar technologies for efficient data processing.

• Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and query large datasets effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technology evaluations.

• Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and solutions to improve product quality and development efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in J2EE development, including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and other related technologies.

• Proficiency in web service development and integration using RESTful APIs.

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Hands-on experience with event handling frameworks like Kafka for building scalable, real-time applications.

• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.

• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and guide the team towards effective solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization of system metrics.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.

• Familiarity with Unix shell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.

• Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) would be a plus
