Packaging Production Manager

Job Description

deally 5-10 Yrs experience within the budget from 90 - 115K

Reports into VP operations

Production:

- Analyze KPIs and metrics; meeting daily production Goals

- Create Production reports and monitor continuous improvement

- Analyze capital plan and equipment/machinery updates and implementation

- GMP compliant and also create and document SOPs

-Managing a Shift and in charge of maintaining & training staff, safety, cleanliness and disciplinary actions when needed

Packaging:

- Manage and oversee all Finished Goods Labeling, Filling, Packaging and Case Sealing

-Cross functional work with Package Engineers and Customer Service

Responsibilities:

Manage and analyze daily operational goals, daily production metrics and developing long term continuous improvement strategies for the Packaging Department.

Analyze and track production gains and losses

Oversee all finished goods labeling, filling, packaging, and case sealing procedures in an efficient manner

Responsible for planning and coordination of materials needed for all shift operations.

Review production reports, assess areas of weakness, and propose solutions

Engage and participate in creating the capital plan and equipment implementation reports

Participate with cross functional teams which include Engineering, Customer service and Planning.

Manage and adhere to all GMP’s and relevant SOP’s.

Maintain SOP documentation and overall safety and cleanliness of the packaging department and operations

In charge of hiring, disciplinary actions, training, monitoring and maintaining staff requirements

Requirements:

Must be comfortable communicating with senior management regarding quality and production metrics

Must have strong project management skills

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

Strong problem solving skills and ability to think outside the box at times

Experience with maintaining quality and safety standards within packaging operations

Pay Details: $90.00 to $110.00 per year
