Forklift Operator (Stand Up, Sit, Cherry Picker)

Job Description

Forklift Operators Needed

Type: Sit Down, Stand-Up, Cherry Picker

Responsibilities:

- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials

- Load and unload trucks and containers using a lift truck

- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments

- Use a pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse

- Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues

- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations

- Assist with order picking and inventory management as needed

Skills:

- Proficient in operating a forklift, including experience with hi-lo equipment

- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the forklift

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in a warehouse environment

- Basic math skills to accurately count and track inventory

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate order picking

Salary: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
