Purpose Statement
To support the vision and strategy and enhance the capability of a Business Unit through the development and implementation of innovative business processes and models.
To identify process improvement opportunities that will enhance the functioning of the Business Unit in line with its strategic objectives and regulatory requirements and ensure the business benefit is achieved through measurement of success.
Experience
Minimum:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement methodologies within the banking or financial services sector.
Demonstrated success in delivering operational excellence and efficiency improvements, particularly in call center and back-office environments, is advantageous.
Proven expertise in automation within the banking industry is essential.
Extensive experience in implementing automation solutions in a banking or financial service setting.
In-depth knowledge of banking channel processes, compliance requirements, and adherence to security standards.
Strong proficiency in process assessment, analysis, and documentation.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and current trends in process automation within the banking sector.
Experience in methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, Business Improvement, and Agile.
Ideal:
5+ years relevant experience in processing systems, processes, procedures and support in a financial services/ banking environment.
Strategic business case development.
Translating Divisional strategies and regulatory requirements into a business area target operating model.
Qualifications (Minimum)
Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering - General
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
A relevant post-graduate qualification in Engineering - General or Information Technology
