Registrar Support Specialist - Enrollment and Registrar Department Full-Time (On Campus) Albizu University Miami Campus The Registration Support Specialist provides general customer service to students, alumni, faculty and supports the University Registrar's Office.

The Registration Support Specialist will participate in the staff rotation for the Registrar's Department.

They will be responsible for the routing of assignments like: degree verifications, attendance verifications for current and former students, paper transcript ordering, readmission process in an efficient and compliant manner.

The Registration Support Specialist will support the office with record maintenance including retroactive drop and adds; grade changes; the degree conferral process; the registration and withdrawal process and all related registration processes as requested.

An employee in this position will gain strong knowledge of the policies for the University Registrar's Office and ensures compliance in all areas.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for managing and rerouting incoming requests via the departmental email.

* Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and the university community in person, by phone or email.

* Conduct normal record maintenance.

* Drafts and initiates correspondence.

* In charge of Technology, Facilities and supplies requests from the office.

Other Responsibilities: * Assist in the packaging and mailing of various communications.

* Assist in disseminating policies and regulations to students, staff, faculty, and administration.

* Performs other tasks as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's degree.

* Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

* At least one (1) year of experience in an office setting is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures, including, filing, answering phones or utilizing standard office equipment * Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both verbally and in writing * Effective organizational and time management skills * Excellent customer service skills, customer facing and interest in working with people throughout the day * Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

* Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

* Proficiency in computer software (i.e.

Microsoft Office). Working Conditions: * Essential physical requirements standing, sitting, stooping, typing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.

* Required to work Saturday or be on-call on Saturday.
