WHAT YOU'LL DO
Senior Watch maintains and repairs heating, cooling, electrical, television, plumbing and assists with emergency situations as needed. Performs supervisory duties areas such as coordinating projects and employees etc.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties on all building mechanical systems, equipment and tools.
Operation and repair of energy management equipment.
Operation of life safety systems, maintenance and repair in public areas and guest rooms.
Supervise and motivate employees in respective areas and guest rooms.
Work with Director of Facilities in coordinating projects and scheduling work.
Take a leadership role in reporting and correcting unsafe work practices or unsafe facility conditions.
Train and assist area engineers in repair procedures and company policy.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position oversees projects and team members in Facilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
Provide your own hand tools.
Valid Driver's License.
PREFERRED
Previous supervisory experience
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls.
The Team Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Must be able to maneuver on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in all situations.
Must be able to learn and retain locations, operation and repair procedures of the property mechanical systems, equipment, and life safety system.
Must possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools such as drills, electric saws, hammers, sewer snakes, etc
WORKING CONDITIONS
While Work is performed indoors, Team Member is exposed to a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
Close spaces while working with others.
While work is performed outdoors, Team Member could be required to maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
