Job Description Summary: Dublin Methodist Hospital & Grady Memorial Hospital will serve as the parish or community in which this Associate Chaplain will primarily provide pastoral counseling and spiritual support to our patients, family members and Hospital Staff alongside other Chaplains within the Department.

As a member of this community, the Pastoral Care Department strives to be the expert on all religious and spiritual matters associated with the broader healthcare provided to our patients and families.

The Associate Chaplain is a critical member of the Pastoral Care Department and actively serves as a member of an interfaith Pastoral Care staff sharing in a wide variety of activities such as staff meetings, on-call responsibilities, and providing meaningful worship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree (Required)APC - Association of Professional Chaplains Certification - Association of Professional Chaplains Undergraduate degree from a college, university, or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Accreditation chea.

Provide documentation of ordination, current endorsement or good standing in accordance with the requirements of his/her own faith tradition or endorsing agency.

Four units of Clinical Pastoral (ACPE, NACC, CASC). Certification or Certification -eligible as recognized by the following Spiritual Care organizations Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Association of Professional Chaplains, Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, National Association of Catholic Chaplains and Neshama Associatione of Jewish Chaplains; or others as agreed upon by the Director of Pastoral Care and VP of Mission and Ministry that meet the Common Qualifications and Competencies for Professional Chaplains professional chaplains.
