We are based in Parsippany, NJ, with clients across the United States. As we grow, we seek a detail-oriented, self-motivated, independent Data Analyst to help analyze, design, and modify business needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

Data Modeling: Designing and building efficient, scalable data models that handle complex data structures and relationships.

DAX Development: Writing DAX formulas and calculations to extract meaningful insights from data, enabling advanced analytics and visualizations.

Report Development: Creating visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.

Tool Mastery: Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and other tools like Azure Analysis Services and SSIS.

Data Integration: Understanding and implementing data integration techniques to connect various data sources seamlessly.

Performance Optimization: Ensuring reports and dashboards run efficiently and handle large data volumes without performance issues.

Other duties as assigned

Other Requirements:

5+ years of experience in the development of business intelligence reports.

Understand and analyze business requirements in the context of business intelligence.

Transform business requirements into technical publications.

Develop robust data documentation about algorithms, parameters, and models.

Make essential technical and strategic changes to improve present business intelligence systems.

Staying updated on the latest Power BI trends and technologies.

Contribute to developing Power BI best practices and standards within the organization.

Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science)

Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on Power BI

Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate & present complex findings clearly and concisely to all the stakeholders, including decision-makers.
