We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic finance team within the legal industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of financial planning and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial transparency and insights, and will play a critical role in strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in SSRS Reports, data reporting, financial planning, financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, annual budgeting, and monthly reporting.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance.

Drive an efficient, effective, and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management, highlighting performance, opportunities, and risks.

Manage the creation of all relevant reports, including weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

Collaborate with the finance team and other business partners to provide financial recommendations.

Perform Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines and policies.

Analyze complex financial information and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An advanced degree or certification such as a CFA or CPA is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or similar role, preferably in a law firm.

Strong proficiency in SSRS Reports, data reporting, financial planning, financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, annual budgeting, and monthly reporting.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create financial models for decision support.

Strong fluency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels, including finance and non-finance managers.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
