Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Public Accounting Auditor with 2 to 8 years of external auditing experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a rigorous environment and is proficient in navigating the complexities of financial compliance and strategic advisory across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct independent external audits for private and non-profit organizations.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present these to management.

Recommend financial best practices based on audit findings and industry standards.

Collaborate with team members to enhance audit procedures and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA designation preferred.

2-8 years of proven experience in external auditing, specifically with private companies and non-profit organizations.

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.

Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills.
