Job Details

Responsibilities:

Capture end-user and market-based requirements to inform design decisions.

Architect and design elements of digital communications systems.

Provide design feedback to the hardware team based on circuit and user requirements.

Generate detailed drawings and documentation packages using CAD software.

Develop and understand mechanical Bill-of-Material structures.

Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve mechanical assembly issues.

Perform all duties assigned by Supervisor.

What you need for this position:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Understanding of basic Engineering concepts, including materials, fabrication methods, and components.

Familiarity with CAD modeling concepts and terminology.

Proficiency in parametric design software, preferably SolidWorks.

Experience with AutoCAD Release 14 or later versions.

Ability to perform inspections of first article samples and use machine shop equipment.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Demonstrates confidentiality and effective time management skills.
