Summary:

The Lab Technician at our manufacturing company is responsible for conducting various tests, analyses, and experiments to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. This role involves performing routine maintenance on lab equipment, documenting findings accurately, and collaborating with other team members to optimize manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

Operate and maintain lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and pH meters.

Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to product quality.

Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Support research and development efforts by conducting experiments and analyzing data as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field.

Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests and documenting results.

Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
