Firewater Response LLC has over 36 years of experience evaluating damage and developing comprehensive mitigation plans for commercial properties (Hospitals, Schools, Universities, Office Buildings, Industrial). We're a family-owned business offering smoke, mold, mildew, fire, and water remediation services.

We are seeking someone with great ethics and values as well as high energy and excellent problem-solving skills to join our team as a Project Manager in our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for responding to water, fire, mold, and biohazard damaged commercial facilities. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational and planning skills; ability to recognize and solve problems independently with attention to detail; strong communication and negotiation skills; self-motivated, responsible, and accountable.

Responsibilities:

Provide emergency service to our customers in a timely manner.

Ability to estimate and manage mitigation projects.

Ability to communicate with a variety of customers including property owners, managers, and adjusters.

Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity, and specific humidity.

Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize moisture mapping software.

The daily planning, organizing, and management of crews.

Efficiently document project progress and profits.

Communicate and negotiate with insurance professionals.

Attend all appropriate company meetings.

Be committed to 24/7 restoration cycle, including on-call rotation.

Additional duties required as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Driver’s License.

5+ years experience in the Construction industry.

2+ years in a supervisory role.

Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience in performing site inspections, setting up and leading the crew members, equipment management, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes, and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of the loss, and negotiating with insurance carrier representatives.

IICRC certifications: WRT, AMRT, FSRT.
