Job Description: We are seeking dynamic and innovative Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants to join our Pediatric Urgent Care team. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with medical directors and site physicians to deliver age-appropriate care under established protocols. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation, and independent decision-making.
Position Status and Hour Requirement:
Full-time: 30 patient contact hours per week
Part-time: Approximately 20 patient contact hours per week
PRN (As Needed Basis): Minimum four days availability per month
All roles necessitate availability for holidays, evening shifts, and weekends, along with a readiness to travel within your designated region to various clinics (refer to regions listed below).

Houston (North, South, East, West): Full-time, part-time, PRN
Austin: Full-time
DFW East: Full-time
DFW West: Full-time

Urgent care experience preferred but not required
Proficiency in medical Spanish is advantageous but not required
Minimum two years of pediatric care experience, with at least one year in pediatric urgent care/emergency settings
Active and unrestricted TX license, in good standing with respective board (physicians must have an active DEA certificate)
Knowledge and experience in pediatric urgent care procedures (e.g., laceration repair, fracture management, nursemaid elbow)
Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA guidelines
BLS certification (required) and PALS certification (may be obtained within 60 days of employment)
Up-to-date documentation of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations
