Job Description

Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Reports to: Picking Manager

Basic Purpose: As a Warehouse Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to oversight of the picking team, oversight of all route truck loading, maintaining company equipment & general warehouse supervision.

Basic Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent

Proficient computer skills

Forklift certification

Experience in managing others

Warehouse experience

Assigned Tasks:

Direct supervision of the warehouse picking & pick replenishment teams.

Be proficient in and manage all warehouse systems such as VIP, EVIP & Microsoft Office.

To see that all breakage and out-of-date product is properly handled according to company policy.

Ensure that productivity standards, cases per hour, cost per case, etc., are maintained.

Train new employees on processes and procedures and monitor their progress.

Supervise the loading of route trucks and ensure vehicle loadouts are accurate.

When all trucks are loaded and checked out on a load sheet, be sure all pallets are built up in warehouse and properly rotated (partial pallets)

Ensure all empty pallets and empty kegs are stacked in the proper place (out of C.E.W.)

Maintain the appearance of the warehouse; keeping it clean and organized.

Conduct nightly inventory count and report to Operations Manager
