CORE JOB DUTIES

Supervises Pack teams >10 personnel

Assigns daily tasks

Trains new hires

Keeps team on track with time expectations

Ensures the expected quality level is met

Supports a culture of continuous improvement; conducts Gemba walks

Responsible for keeping all packaging areas clean by following 6S

Supports a GMP work environment

Responsible for execution of batch record documentation and delivering against daily schedule

Utilizes company's Regulatory Seed-to-Sale System and makes conversions as needed

Prints reports and disperses to team

Works cross-functionally with Processing, Material Handling, and Order Fulfillment departments to ensure incoming material to be packed, inventory control, and the logistics delivery schedule are maintained.

Communicates inventory discrepancies to Packaging Manger and Sales Team

Responsible for operation of automated equipment

Confirms set-up and run log are filled out properly

Engages with maintenance team if there is equipment downtime

Approves timecards, PTO, sick days, and handles disciplinary actions/rewards for direct reports

Leads 1:1 scheduled monthly meetings with direct reports

Conducts annual performance reviews

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Demonstrated experience within a CPG, Manufacturing, or Production setting - 1-3 years preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures

Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner

Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment

Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications a plus

COMPENSATION

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the estimated range of compensation is $55,000 - $60,000. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience and other relevant factors.
