SM Farm Driver

Job Description

Position Summary:

This position requires someone who has a valid and clear driver’s license, with great people skills, organized and responsible individual to transport workers from identified pick up areas to assigned farms. When not transporting workers, they would be utilized to load and unload the trucks with products or empty containers from or to the farms, and in our Warehouse department as an extra parts runner or intercompany delivery driver.

Forklift certification will be required and assist with odd duties in the Warehouse.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Forklift experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License / Clean driving record.

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main responsibility — Act as the shuttle driver for workers that are assigned to the different company farms Parts runner.

They will drive the groups that come to help harvest. Then, drive the groups back to the Farms they belong to, after returning must clean/disinfect the bus.

Intercompany delivery driver

Take clean product containers from the warehouse to the farms where needed.

Take all the dirty containers to the warehouse for cleaning and take containers that are leftover/no longer in used.

Take the Company's cars to pump gas.

Take all the empty wooden pallets to the warehouse.

Assist with warehouse cleaning and organization.

Assist with loading and unloading trucks with empty containers and products.

Assist with moving the trucks with product from the farms to the receiving dock.

Driver may help with other job-related duties as assigned.
